basic information
"Katatsumuri" is a soil improvement material that ensures quality superior to cement-based and lime-based solidifying agents, creating added value by reducing environmental impact through zero emissions, while satisfying social demands with workability, economic efficiency, and appropriate recycling methods. The development of soil improvement materials by BioWaste Co., Ltd. promotes reduction (REDUCE), reuse (REUSE), and recycling (RECYCLE) of materials and target improved soil by utilizing recycled resources. The soil improvement material "Katatsumuri" can achieve the required strength early by mixing with site-generated soil, and can bring the pH close to neutral at an early stage after improvement, allowing for a method that contains no harmful substances such as hexavalent chromium and has no environmental impact. This method also allows for the determination of the appropriate mixing ratio for the target soil by changing the mixing ratios of various materials, providing a more economical and needs-based solidifying agent.
Applications/Examples of results
Recycling is a demand of the times, and the effective utilization of dredged soil, mud, and surplus soil in construction is an important issue within a circular society. Our snail method technology contributes to reducing environmental impact as a zero-emission approach through appropriate recycling methods, creating added value. By mixing with site-generated soil, it not only achieves the required strength early on but also allows for the pH to be neutralized at an early stage after improvement. Additionally, it can be effectively utilized as a modification method with no environmental burden, as it contains no hexavalent chromium or harmful substances in the solidifying agent components.
Company information
The "Snail Method" we propose is a soil improvement material. It is a new technique that can revive soil that has become harmful due to pollution and environmental changes caused by human economic activities. We promise to use this "Snail Method" in various places to restore the vegetation that once existed there and bring back small ecosystems.
