Mitsubishi Mobile Mapping System (MMS)
Mitsubishi Electric Mobile Mapping System
No traffic regulations, making it easy to create high-precision 3D maps.
MMS (Mobile Mapping System) is a mobile measurement system that equips vehicles with GPS antennas, laser scanners, cameras, and other devices to efficiently and accurately acquire three-dimensional spatial position data and surrounding images of the road environment while driving on general roads and highways (up to 80 km/h) without traffic restrictions. It is also used in public surveying and research, including the creation of road ledger annex maps necessary for road maintenance management, and is utilized for surface condition surveys and tunnel inspections. basic information
In visible GPS areas, it is possible to measure the three-dimensional space within 20 meters of the road surface and roadside with an absolute accuracy of within 10 cm and a relative accuracy of within 1 cm. There is no degradation of accuracy due to speed. With GPS correction using surface correction parameters, stable accuracy can be achieved even over long distances. Additionally, continuous measurements can be taken without being aware of the position of electronic reference points.

Our company was founded in 1995 with the aim of supporting the recovery from the Great Hanshin-Awaji Earthquake. The company name is derived from our unique measuring device, "KUMONOS," which can quickly and accurately measure 0.2mm cracks from a distance of 100 meters. In 1998, we were the first in Japan to introduce a 3D laser scanner, and since then, we have developed a 3D measurement business and equipment introduction business to promote 3D laser scanning technology. Over the past 25 years, we have accumulated over 2,500 measurement achievements and approximately 300 equipment introductions, establishing ourselves as a leading company in 3D laser scanning in Japan. Our technology has received numerous ministerial awards from the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism, the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, and the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology, including the Japan Manufacturing Award. Additionally, our technology was introduced to world leaders at the G20 Osaka Summit, receiving high praise both domestically and internationally. Moving forward, we will continue to implement the latest technologies backed by our high technical capabilities and provide DX solutions across various fields.
