The Joint Keeper was developed to solve the problems of traditional joint treatment methods. The concrete substrate can rise above 60°C due to summer sunlight and drop to around -20°C due to radiative cooling in winter. This temperature difference (80°C) causes the expansion joints installed at 3-meter intervals to widen and compress by an average of about 2.5mm. 【Features】 ○ Simply remove the cap from the existing expansion joint, apply primer, and stick the Joint Keeper to complete the joint treatment. ○ The tape shape makes it easy to handle. ○ The self-adhesive layer on the back of the tape adheres to the substrate. ○ The incorporated plate-shaped metal pieces flatten the expansion joint. ○ It can be easily cut at any location where there are no metal pieces incorporated.
