The detector uses a high-capacity (103cc) NaI(Tl) scintillator with a diameter of 2 inches and a length of 2 inches. The detection device employs a 2-inch photomultiplier tube. By linking the ultra-sensitive detector and high-performance photomultiplier tube with GPS, it can measure and record the spatial dose rate over a wide area every second while moving at high speeds in a car or motorcycle, automatically mapping the dose rates with color coding on a map. The power supply includes an AC adapter powered by a vehicle-mounted AC/DC converter (included), as well as a rechargeable battery (approximately 8 hours of operation), allowing for walking surveys. Additionally, measurements can be taken while stored in the included fully waterproof hard case, enabling walking surveys even in inclement weather.

■Purpose: Used for measuring ambient dose rates and gamma rays. It enables extensive measurements, recording, and map mapping over a wide area in a short time through survey operations. Walking surveys using the included rechargeable battery are also possible.   Management and utilization in the database Measurement data can be stored in the built-in database management system of the accompanying laptop and displayed on a map with color coding based on the dose set as desired. (Measurement: NPO Furusato)

  Data sharing of dose maps and dose graphs. When you click on a point of interest in the dose graph, a pin will appear on the dose map, displaying the dose rate (μSv/h) and spectral graph for that point every second. The dose rates and spectral graphs for all areas covered during the drive are automatically recorded and can be checked.

  Intuitively grasping changes in dose rate By converting measurement data into KMZ format with the push of a button and displaying it in Google Earth, the height of the dose is shown in three dimensions, making changes in dose intuitively understandable.

In addition to artificial radionuclides such as Cs-134 and Cs-137, the presence of natural radionuclides like K-40 can also be confirmed. Spectrum data is automatically recorded every second. When detecting hotspots, the confirmation of radionuclides can be achieved through spectrum measurement. The spectrum can also be displayed in logarithmic form.

The hard case is made by PELICAN, which is said to have the highest shock resistance in the world, protecting the detector, tablet, and laptop from water, dust, and impact.
