An access control system that unlocks electric locks with a card touch and records entry and exit history. It accurately stores entry and exit times using a built-in clock.
The ORB card authentication door controller TCR-5L series is an access control system that unlocks the electric lock of a door simply by touching a card and records logs (unlock history). The logs are recorded with accurate timestamps. Since log verification and card registration are done via PC over LAN, it allows for efficient operation across multiple doors. It can also be useful for managing employee working hours, which has seen increased demand due to the enforcement of the Work Style Reform Bill. Additionally, the front of the unit is equipped with a lamp indicating when the door is locked, allowing for easy verification of the locking status at a glance.

Company information
ORB Corporation was established in 1977 in Settsu City, Osaka Prefecture, as JAI Corporation, a knowledge-intensive company engaged in the design, development, and manufacturing of electronic devices. With a manufacturing system that possesses advanced technological development capabilities and high-quality management, we have developed OEM products for many well-known domestic manufacturers and have also engaged in OEM operations for major overseas companies. The products we have worked on include control units for injection molding machines, building and home security systems, oxygen capsules, as well as simulation devices for fuel rod retrieval in nuclear power plants and active noise barrier systems that eliminate sound. Our technical capabilities have enabled us to design, develop, and manufacture an astonishingly diverse range of products. In 2010, we began expanding our series of access control door controllers and time recorders, and in the same year, a barrier-free system with security features was adopted by the Osaka Regional Creation Fund, continuing our evolution. In April 2016, we changed our company name from JAI Corporation to ORB Corporation, marking a new beginning. ORB aims to advance as a company that provides solutions contributing to society through technology and quality.
