basic information
Vibrations exist in various forms, from ground and building sway to equipment machine vibrations, and it is necessary to select the optimal sensor according to the purpose. In particular, low-frequency micro-vibrations are predominantly measured using expensive servo-type accelerometers, making it difficult to share measurements with piezoelectric accelerometers or electrodynamic velocity sensors used for mechanical vibrations. The Broad Motion Sensor VP-8013M employs a sensor module uniquely developed by IMV, enabling the measurement of a wide range of vibrations that were previously unmeasurable.

Applications/Examples of results
<Low Frequency> It can accurately measure visible vibrations and fluctuations. ■Examples of use: - Buildings and floors - Low-speed rotating machines / Mixers / Centrifuges - Low-speed operating machines / Cranes / Construction equipment / Conveyors <Vibration> It can measure small vibrations typically measured by servo-type accelerometers. ■Examples of use: Machines affected negatively by vibrations - Semiconductor manufacturing equipment - Laser processing machines - Precision machinery - Medical devices <Machine Vibration> It can manage vibration frequencies of 10 to 1000 Hz according to JIS B0906, which is widely used for evaluating vibrations of rotating machines over 600 rpm, titled "Machine Vibration - Measurement and Evaluation of Machine Vibration in Non-Rotating Parts - General Guidelines." Furthermore, it can not only measure the vibrations of slow rotating machines like mixers but also potentially evaluate the vibrations of the framework or building where the machine is installed alongside the machine itself.
