Tokai Felt Co., Ltd., established in 1946 in Hamamatsu City, Shizuoka Prefecture, set up its factory in Hamamatsu and its sales office in Ginza, Tokyo, where it manufactured and sold cow hair felt and coarse hair felt. In 1953, aiming for further significant development, the Tokyo sales office was separated and established as Tsukasa Felt Trading Co., Ltd.
