For the improvement of environment, safety, economy, quality, and recyclability!
"HC Composite Fill Material" is a fill material that is produced by mixing crushed stone fine powder (dehydrated cake), which is generated as a by-product during the manufacturing of wet crushed sand, with quicklime and crushed gravel (0-40 mm). It can be used as a subgrade material for constructing paved roads, employing methods such as embankment and replacement methods. Compared to conventional fill materials, it excels in environmental friendliness, safety, economic viability, quality, and recyclability. In the future, with the increasing demand for high-quality crushed stone and crushed sand due to factors such as particle size and shape, an increase in the generation of crushed stone fine powder (dehydrated cake), which could potentially become waste, is anticipated. This material represents a new recycling concept unique to Otsubo, effectively utilizing this by-product. It is registered with NETIS (Registration Number: QS-040018). [Features] ○ H (Hydraulic) → Water-hardening: The property of lime and cement hardening through water. ○ C (Coordination) → Adjustment: The process of fine-tuning to eliminate excess or deficiency and achieve balance. ○ Composite → The combination of two or more elements into one. ○ Fill Material → The ground material that is leveled by excavating the earth when paving the road surface with stone, concrete, asphalt, etc. For more details, please contact us or download the catalog.

basic information
**Merits** ○ Economic Efficiency → Cost reduction effects for public works are expected compared to conventional construction subgrade materials. ○ Quality → By adding and mixing 5% stabilizer (quicklime) to crushed stone fine powder (dewatered cake) and processing it, it becomes a modified stabilizer. → The modified stabilizer is made easier to handle and mixed with 20% cut gravel (0-40 m/m), ensuring stable quality of the subgrade material. → There is no inconsistency in particle size, density, or composition, which is often seen in subgrade materials using conventional natural soil (sand soil). ○ Environment → Effectively utilizing crushed stone fine powder, which is generated as a byproduct when producing single-sized crushed stone or crushed sand in a wet process, as fill material. → Reduces the amount of final disposal and decreases the extraction of raw stones for quarrying through effective utilization. → Expected environmental benefits such as reduced energy consumption and protection of the natural environment. ○ Safety → Soil leaching tests have been completed. ● For more details, please contact us or download the catalog.

Otsubo Stone Co., Ltd. was founded in 1953 and has been dedicated to the stable supply of crushed stone, an essential foundational material, and the development of the local community amid the urgent need for post-war social infrastructure development. Over the past 60 years, we have encountered numerous challenges, but thanks to the understanding, guidance, and support of various related organizations, we have successfully navigated these difficulties and reached today, for which we are deeply grateful. The business environment surrounding small and medium-sized enterprises remains harsh, with sluggish capital investment and personal consumption, intensified competition due to deregulation, and strengthened product liability, particularly concerning the pressing issue of global environmental concerns. We are committed to working diligently as a united company to contribute to the development and progress of our hometown and to meet the trust and expectations of the local residents.
