The lightweight shackle was developed through joint research with Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Ltd. Our company successfully achieved mass production of lightweight shackles in Japan for the first time, leveraging the know-how we have cultivated over many years in shackle manufacturing. The "K-Cle" has become an indispensable shackle for cargo handling and is considered the origin of lightweight shackles. In addition to being lightweight (half the weight of conventional products), the "K-Cle" is designed to maintain safety over a long period. We have established guidelines for customer usage, maintenance inspections, and disposal standards. Furthermore, taking into account various environmental changes and usage conditions, we match functionality with cost-effectiveness and select sizes rationally.

The lightweight shackle is characterized by having a mouth width and length that are almost the same as those of a JIS shackle of grade M, but with a weight that is about half. The body and pin are made of special steel and are heat-treated after being formed through hot forging. Additionally, the hole part of the shackle body and the shaft part of the pin are finished through machining to enhance precision. The surface is coated with orange powder non-chrome paint.
