Neodymium bonded magnets (neodymium plastic magnets) have a composition similar to neodymium magnets produced by the sintering method, but they are made by mixing magnetic powder with plastic resin (epoxy resin) and then molding and curing the mixture. The amount of magnetic powder is approximately 90% by weight and 60-70% by volume.

Compared to typical neodymium magnets, it is about 1/2 in Br and 1/4 to 1/8 in (BH)max, resulting in lower magnetic properties. 2. Complex shapes and thin shapes are possible. Although the magnetic properties are lower than those of neodymium magnets, the mixture of resin allows for complex shapes and thin profiles, achieving high dimensional accuracy without the need for finishing. Generally, there are two representative types: compression molded products and injection molded products, but at NeoMag, we only support compression molded products.
