★PEEKCOAT is a surface treatment process that covers the substrate surface with PEEK. ★PEEK is a thermoplastic resin with a polyaryletherketone backbone, exhibiting very high performance in various physical properties such as heat resistance, sliding, and chemical resistance, making it a high-function plastic. ★PEEKCOAT imparts several surface characteristics of PEEK to the surface as follows: ●Sliding Properties It has high wear resistance and a low coefficient of friction, making it very effective for sliding components. Additionally, due to the minimal deformation allowance of the resin, it can also be used under high surface pressure. ●Dimensional Stability It excels in machinability, and by polishing after coating, it achieves excellent dimensional accuracy. Furthermore, it is resistant to deformation from heat and chemicals, and has low wear, ensuring long-term stability. ●Chemical Resistance It has outstanding alkali resistance and demonstrates the highest durability among resin coatings.
