Knovel, developed for engineers, is a workflow tool that contains verified information across a wide range of research fields. It not only allows keyword searches of the text in books and handbooks but also includes features necessary for engineers, such as searching for physical property values and a unit conversion tool. Since its release in 2001, it has been used by universities, research institutions, and companies around the world. It helps reduce the time spent on information gathering, searching, and analysis in applications such as best practice development, process improvement, safety compliance, energy efficiency, failure analysis, material selection, and product design, thereby enhancing productivity. In this seminar, we will introduce the search for physical property values using 'Data Search,' one of the basic functions of Knovel.
