It prevents galvanic corrosion between dissimilar metals and significantly reduces electrolysis on galvanized steel sheets and aluminum materials. The main component of the top coat, silica, has high water solubility, allowing it to dissolve into scratches and cover damaged areas to enhance corrosion resistance (it is strong against scratches due to its self-repairing properties).
