It excels in heat resistance, with no softening or carbonization of the coating, reducing the decrease in concrete adhesion due to heating from fires and other sources. Covered with a strong coating of zinc and a zinc-iron alloy layer, which has a lower corrosion potential than iron, it provides sacrificial corrosion protection, resulting in minimal localized corrosion due to coating defects. Special care is not required to protect the coating during transportation or on-site construction.
