After acid washing and rinsing the printed circuit boards, the workpieces are passed through rolls arranged vertically for water removal. Before complete drying with hot air, it is necessary to remove as much moisture as possible to shorten drying time and reduce heater operating costs. We have been using general PVA sponge rolls, but we have been struggling with low moisture removal rates and hardening during drying. Issues: 1. We want rolls that can maintain a high water absorption rate stably. 2. The currently used PVA rolls become hard after drying, raising concerns about damaging the workpieces.

We propose a special polyurethane elastomer ruby cell roll. Ruby cell is a urethane sponge with fine continuous pores (microporous). Points: 1. It has excellent water absorption and retention properties, preventing drying unevenness and the occurrence of watermarks. 2. It maintains flexibility even when dry. - The pore size can be adjusted between 10 to 100 microns according to the application, and hardness can also be freely adjusted. - It excels in water resistance, corrosion resistance, moldability, breathability, and heat resistance (Max. 120°C), and unlike typical PVA sponges, there is almost no change in hardness in both DRY and WET conditions. - It also has very high abrasion resistance and generates almost no dust. (Sheet products are used for particle wiping in clean rooms.)
