Manufacturing small lot parts using lost-wax precision casting technology!
In a food factory, the hammer components of the grinder (hammer mill) have deteriorated due to wear, resulting in unstable grinding particle size. Issues: 1. The machine was purchased used, is of an old model, and cannot receive support or parts supply from the grinder manufacturer. 2. There are no part drawings available; only the worn parts exist. 3. The motor and the main cover are still functioning without any issues. 4. A single grinder uses 12 hammers (all are worn to a similar extent).

basic information
Producing 12 units through stainless steel machining (cutting process) incurs significant costs. This time, we propose manufacturing using precision casting with lost wax. Points: 1. Based on the worn parts, we measured the clearance with the main body and used 3D CAD to restore the original shape. 2. As a wear countermeasure, we attached a carbide tip to the tip. 3. For the casting material, we selected SCS13 (cast steel equivalent to SUS304). Casting process using lost wax.
