We propose a two-part mechanical seal that can be easily installed without disassembling the pump. This mechanical seal can withstand 3.5 times the high pressure of conventional two-part seals and can also endure the vacuum state within the stuffing box. 1. It can be installed on all types of pumps. 2. No disassembly of the pump is required for easy installation. 3. Unlike gland packing, once installed, regular maintenance such as retightening is unnecessary. 4. Although it is more than 50 times more expensive than gland packing, it offers advantages by eliminating maintenance costs (such as arranging tow trucks), water loss, and cleaning work.
