At Company A, which manufactures car lamps, dust was adhering due to static electricity during the painting of resin molded products, causing uneven paint application. 1. We want to eliminate static electricity from the products. 2. We want to reduce defects caused by uneven paint application.

Although a static eliminator had already been installed, it was only effective from the top, and the underside was not being treated. I suggested performing static elimination from the bottom through the gap at the belt transfer point. We decided to install a DC corona discharge type static eliminator bar made by Kasuga Electric and connect it to the instrument air to eliminate static from the back side of the molded products. Since it is a DC type, the ion generation is significantly higher, and by using clean air in conjunction, it allows for faster and more effective static elimination.
