Heat-resistant, explosion-proof air filter
You were considering the installation of an oil-adsorbing air filter on the exhaust duct from the heating furnace, but there were concerns about the heat resistance of commercially available products. Issues: 1. It is acceptable if the collection efficiency is somewhat lower; we want to install a filter with a high heat resistance. 2. Flammable gases and fluids will pass through, and it will be used in an explosion-proof designated area. 3. There are constraints on the installation space, so it must have a compact structure (especially in terms of thickness).

basic information
We proposed an all-stainless steel filter made by stacking six fine stainless steel meshes as the filtering material, sandwiching them with coarse diamond mesh, and securing the four sides with a stainless steel frame. Points: 1. Achieves significantly higher heat resistance (1000°C) compared to filters made with non-woven fabric. 2. To absorb the expansion and contraction of the filtering material due to temperature changes, the welding points are limited to the frame only, intentionally not welding the mesh and diamond mesh to the frame. 3. Being made entirely of stainless steel, it does not generate static electricity and is a non-combustible material, making it safe for use in explosion-proof areas.
