basic information
Otokui has the characteristic of attenuating sounds across a wide frequency range, reducing reflected sounds (sound absorption effect), and lowering sound transmission rates (sound insulation effect). Furthermore, Otokui is designed to delay and return weak reflected sounds so that the first reflections hitting the walls do not interfere with the sound from the source. Therefore, in spaces surrounded by Otokui, sounds generated within can be heard more clearly. This effect has been successfully utilized as wall material in meeting booths, conference rooms, and similar environments.
