Furthermore, it is suitable for connecting whiteboards in classrooms located further away than the maximum distance of the USB bus. It is also convenient for connecting USB flash drives, scanners, printers, or USB surveillance cameras and USB touch panels for interactive digital signage to computers or servers located in another room using the extender. The extender operates stably with USB 2.0/1.1 peripherals, including USB hubs, connected. The local unit and 4-port remote unit receive power from the included AC adapter, and the local unit supplies 600mA of power to the USB ports of the remote unit via the link.
