basic information
It is possible to perform remote ON/OFF operations via contact output and monitor signal inputs while exchanging communication data with serial devices over a LAN network from a computer. If the serial device has contact signal output, it can be received on the computer via LAN along with the serial signals. This is also useful for applications such as adding sensors (inputs) or alarms (outputs) around the serial device. We provide input/output function libraries and sample programs with source code for Visual Basic and C language to control the IO unit functions. Control software for Windows and an Android app are also available.

Applications/Examples of results
Remotely monitor and control an RS-232C type display via a LAN network, and turn off the power during breaks for energy conservation. Capture inspection data from diagnostic equipment via RS-232C, and light the alarm lamp in response to call buttons and maintenance signals from the device.
