Achieving electrostatic flocking equivalents at low cost.

"HP Flock" is a revolutionary extruded product that enables the electrostatic flocking process, which has been used in automotive weather strips and other applications, through a special processing method, allowing for cost reduction and improved environmental performance. Electrostatic flocking involves applying adhesive to the product and using static electricity to insert fibers into the product's surface, making it a labor-intensive process that can dirty the work environment and lead to increased costs due to secondary processing. Thanks to its unique processing method, this product eliminates the need for drying operations like those required in electrostatic flocking, enabling cost savings. Additionally, by not using large amounts of solvents such as primers or adhesives during manufacturing and reducing drying processes, it can decrease CO2 emissions, allowing for the creation of products with lower environmental impact. The standard flock is made of nylon with a density of 3.3 dtex and a pile length of 0.5 mm, but it is also possible to change the density, pile length, and material to polyester, among other options.
