It fills the tank with a carrier that retains microorganisms, purifying the water quality through the activity of the microorganisms on the carrier's surface. There is no need to manage sludge concentration like in the activated sludge method, and there is no return sludge. Strict management of dissolved oxygen concentration is also unnecessary, allowing for stable operation without specialized knowledge.
