PoE-compatible Ethernet 16-channel surge protector SP016P that protects devices from high voltage surges such as induced lightning in LAN wiring!
The SP016P simultaneously protects LAN wiring that includes PoE/PoE Plus power supply for up to 16 systems at 10/100/1000M. It diverts high voltage surges caused by induced lightning and other sources away from the equipment to the ground before it reaches the devices. The surge protector should be installed as close as possible to the equipment that needs protection. When protecting a camera, it should be placed near the camera; when protecting a monitor or NVR/server, it should be installed near the monitor/DVR/server. The basic principle of surge protection is to install protectors on both the camera side and the display device (monitor) side. If the SP016P is installed on the monitor side, additional devices such as the IP06PH or JPOE-B2-1, SP006P can be installed on the camera side for each camera wiring system.
