◎Details about the key - You can choose from three types of authentication methods: USB device, password, and USB × password. - You can use a USB device recognized by the device manager as a key (hubs are excluded). - The vendor ID, product ID, and serial number of the USB device are distinguished, so even if the devices have the same model number, they will not be duplicate keys if the serial numbers are different. - The password can be set up to 63 characters long using printable half-width alphanumeric symbols. - It is also possible to set up a strong dual key using USB × password. ◎Creating an encrypted area You can create an area (secret area) on the free space of the internal hard disk that is not visible without the key. It can only be used as a virtual drive when unlocked by a pre-registered key. The secret area is encrypted, and third parties without the key cannot access the data within the secret area. - AES (256-bit key) is used for encryption. - Even if the computer is stolen and the hard disk is removed, the data cannot be analyzed without the key. - Separate areas can be set up for each key configured on the USB HardLocker.
