The laboratory centrifuge "LAC Series" features an extremely thin disc-shaped rotating basket and uses transparent glass on both sides, allowing for direct observation of the state and changes of the processed materials (crystals, liquids) during rotation. Additionally, when considering scaling up to actual manufacturing machines, the thickness of the crystal layer in the basket is deemed necessary to some extent to assess filtration resistance, leading to a design with a larger diameter for the rotating body. Conversely, regarding the height of the basket, it is considered that during scaling up, only the expansion of the filtration area needs to be taken into account, resulting in a design with a thickness that is as thin as possible. Additionally, tests under different conditions can be easily performed. ■Visibility of filtration process issues! The basket cover is made of transparent glass, allowing for visual observation of the separation state. ■Easy disassembly and cleaning! Compared to conventional separators, the main body can be easily disassembled and assembled, making machine cleaning and crystal recovery straightforward. ■Easy scale-up! The basket has a thin disk shape, allowing for a thick layer of crystals to form, enabling the assessment of filtration resistance with small sample sizes. ■Installable anywhere! The compactly designed LAC-2000 uses a standard 100V power supply, making it suitable for any installation location. ■Maximum centrifugal effect of 1500G! The powerful centrifugal effect can shorten processing time. (The rotation speed of the basket can be set as desired.) Additionally, pressure can be applied during high-speed rotation for liquid removal, promoting filtration. 【Optional specifications】 ■Capable of separating various samples! In conventional centrifuges, 20 liters (20,000 milliliters) of sample were required, but with the LAC400, filtration tests can be conducted with just 400 milliliters of sample.

Since filtration experiments can be conducted with a small amount of test sample (MAX 2000 ml), experiments can be performed with 1/50 of the amount of a conventional experimental basket-type centrifuge (20 liters).
