Just by implementing the USB card into the UPS and connecting it to the PC, the UPS management software is unnecessary!
Traditionally, managing a UPS required the installation of management software, but by implementing a USB card in the UPS and connecting it to a computer with the included cable, the UPS files become visible. Using this card allows you to view the UPS files in a manner similar to a USB memory stick. Additionally, you can configure the OS shutdown settings in the Windows power management screen. When connecting the separately sold remote switch [RRAS004], the USB card controls the sequence, making operations easier.

basic information
■UPS management is as simple as connecting a USB cable. By implementing a USB card in the UPS and connecting it to a computer with the included cable, you will be able to see the UPS files. Traditionally, managing a UPS required the installation of management software. With this card, you can view UPS files in a manner similar to using a USB memory stick. ■Shutting down the OS is also as simple as connecting a cable. In the event of a power outage, the UPS battery will be depleted in about 10 minutes. Therefore, when using a UPS for servers or computers, it is necessary to set up the system to shut down the OS before the battery runs out. By using the USB card, you can configure the OS shutdown settings in the Windows power management screen. ■Starting and stopping the UPS and computer can be done with a remote switch. When starting or stopping the computer or UPS, the order of operations must be followed: start with "UPS → computer power," and stop with "OS shutdown → computer power → UPS." By connecting the separately sold remote switch [RRAS004], the USB card will control the order, making the operation easier.
