The "Simple Support Strength Measuring Device Caspol" is a tripod-type measuring instrument that can evaluate the support strength characteristics of the ground in real-time. It features simple and easy operation, minimizes individual errors, and does not require reaction force, making it applicable in narrow spaces and mountainous areas. The measurement principle involves dropping a rammer equipped with an accelerometer onto the ground and calculating the strength constants necessary for the foundation support strength of structures from the maximum impact acceleration obtained from the collision. The Caspole utilizes the correlation between the "impact acceleration (Ia value)" obtained when a rammer with an accelerometer built-in strikes the ground and the ground constants, making it an excellent tool capable of measuring CBR, cohesion (c), internal friction angle (φ), cone index (qc), and the ground reaction coefficient (K30) obtained from plate load tests on roads.

Calculation of allowable support strength Using the values of "φ" and "c" that can be measured with Caspfol, along with the "ultimate bearing capacity calculation formula" from the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism Notification No. 1113 and the Building Foundation Structural Design Guidelines, you can calculate the bearing capacity of the ground.
