Structure of SKR55/65 The SKR55/65 is a compact, high-rigidity, and high-precision actuator that places an inner block, which incorporates a ball screw nut into an LM block, inside an outer rail with a high-rigidity U-shaped cross-section. Additionally, since the housing A/B serves as a support unit and the inner block also functions as a table, it significantly reduces design and assembly man-hours, enabling a total cost reduction.

Feature 1: High Speed By increasing the variations of ball screw leads, it is now possible to select a large lead as a standard option, which was not achievable with the previous KR55/65. In addition to the increased allowable rotational speed due to the retainer effect of the ball screw, selecting a large lead enables even faster operation.

Feature 2: Four-directional equal load The ball rows are arranged at a contact angle of 45° to ensure that they have the same rated load against loads acting in four directions (radial, reverse radial, and lateral) on the inner block, allowing for use in any orientation.

Feature 3: High Precision The linear guideway, designed with a four-row circular arc groove that moves lightly even under preload, provides a gapless and highly rigid guidance. Additionally, changes in friction resistance due to load variations are minimized, allowing for high-precision feeding to be followed accurately.

Feature 5: Retainer Effect The SKR improves grease retention capability due to the effect of the ball retainer, achieving long-term maintenance-free operation. Additionally, the basic dynamic load ratings of the LM guide and ball screw sections have increased compared to conventional models, resulting in a longer lifespan. [Low Noise & Good Sound Quality] By adopting ball retainers in the LM guide and ball screw sections, the collision noise between the balls has been eliminated. This has resulted in low noise and good sound quality.
