This is a size series established for fixing cylindrical surfaces, based on the old JIS standard (JIS WG1517). The AN6230 standard is one of the O-ring dimension standards that originated from the former JIS standard (JIS WG1517). It is used primarily for O-ring sizes fixed to cylindrical surfaces in industries such as aviation and hydraulics. Furthermore, all AN6230 standards can be converted to AS568 standards (aerospace standards).
