On January 30, 2007, the official gazette announced the adoption of the "Regulatory Agreement for Large Rear Reflectors (No. 70)" (ECE-R70) effective from April 1, 2007 (mandatory application for vehicles produced after September 1, 2011). In conjunction with this, amendments were made to the "Safety Standards for Road Transport Vehicles" (Ministry of Transport Ordinance No. 67 of 1951) and the "Notification Establishing Detailed Standards for Safety of Road Transport Vehicles" (Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism Notification No. 619 of 2002). The prism-type ultra-high brightness retroreflective sheet large rear reflector is a large rear reflector that meets the technical requirements of "ECE R70" (ECE component certified product). There are stripe (zebra) types for trucks/tractors and frame types for trailers.
