Comfortable reception is possible even outdoors or in a car. ●Power Save Function Equipped with a power save function that significantly shortens the detection time for the presence of received signals, reducing current consumption. Additionally, in AUTO selection mode, if there is no signal for about one minute after power save starts, it automatically changes the duty cycle to reduce battery drain during standby. ●Approximately 19 hours of reception with alkaline batteries Achieves about 15 hours of reception with the included Ni-MH (nickel-metal hydride) battery. With alkaline batteries, it significantly exceeds the IC-R5's approximately 10 hours (when using alkaline batteries), providing about 19 hours of reception.
