Seal Hard is a colorless, odorless, and environmentally friendly concrete surface hardener that is non-polluting. It is a colorless and transparent liquid primarily composed of sodium silicate. After application, it penetrates the surface of the concrete and undergoes a chemical reaction with the concrete components, producing a glass-like substance on the surface. This chemical reaction continues over time with moisture replenishment through regular washing with water. Concrete strengthened by Seal Hard becomes more beautiful and glossy with use and regular washing, without becoming slippery even when glossy. Since Seal Hard penetrates rather than being applied like paint, it does not peel off, and a single application can provide a semi-permanent effect. This, along with ease of maintenance, leads to significant cost savings. Developed by L&M in the United States and currently marketed by LATICRETE, Seal Hard has over 40 years of proven performance in the U.S., where many factories, stores, and logistics centers that have been treated still maintain their beautiful condition.
