Insulation Cover for Steam Piping and Valves This is an insulation cover for steam piping and valves operating at temperatures between 100°C and 250°C. It is widely used in the industry as a completely new insulation material that replaces traditional insulation methods such as sheet metal and lagging. This new material addresses issues such as rising insulation construction costs and prolonged construction periods due to recent labor shortages and a lack of skilled workers.
For freeze prevention, this insulation material is made by wrapping high-density glass wool as an insulating material in a glass cloth coated with aluminum, designed to shut out the flow of air that causes condensation. Outdoor piping is a significant concern for freezing during winter. Particularly, devices such as valves and pumps must be monitored for freezing. In areas that do not receive sunlight on the north side, unexpected freezing can often cause damage to equipment. This freeze prevention is highly effective at temperatures down to around -15°C.
Condensation prevention use Condensation on cold water and low-temperature piping systems is quite troublesome, especially during the summer, which is a current concern. A jacket for cold water is the ideal product to solve this problem.
This is an insulation cover for high-temperature devices such as boilers, heat exchangers, turbines, and steam headers that generate temperatures above 500°C. It is made by tailoring a blanket-like mat, which consists of special glass cloth or silica cloth combined with high-density glass wool, to the shape of the equipment. It can be easily removed for regular repairs or emergency maintenance, making it highly economical.
