The space used when opening and closing is only half of a single door, making this convenient outward-folding flush door WDR40 capable of utilizing approximately four times more space compared to a typical double door of the same size. With large swinging doors, the large turning radius can sometimes become a disadvantage when opening the door. In rooms that face corridors with a relatively high frequency of opening and closing, especially where people or objects frequently pass through, dead space is created each time the door is opened or closed, making it difficult to use the space effectively. This is where the WDR40 outward-folding flush door comes in to solve such problems. The space used during opening and closing is only half of a single door, allowing for approximately four times more effective use of space compared to a typical double door of the same size. When the door is open, the two doors can be secured, and by using a handle pocket on the wall side, the door can be stored compactly. *Note 1: When installing on a steel frame, a handle pocket may not be necessary. *Note: When installing on an insulated panel system, it is recommended to install reinforcements such as a steel frame for support. ✔ Designed based on the structure of DR40, which clears the airtight performance A-4 grade, ensuring excellent airtightness (in the case of the four-frame Gremon specification)* ✔ The handle pocket and included door stopper prevent the door body and lock from hitting each other or the wall (the handle pocket on the wall side is optional) ✔ The uniquely developed sliding drop mechanism securely holds the door closed even if the floor is uneven ✔ The interior of the door combines an aluminum frame with paper honeycomb or styrene foam (for insulated non-combustible options, non-combustible polystyrene foam or phenolic foam), allowing for light and smooth opening and closing ✔ A variety of options such as windows and grilles are available ✔ All made to order in 1mm increments * Airtight performance testing for WDR40 alone has not been conducted.
