The particulate sensor AQ-10 is a versatile transducer designed to continuously monitor the presence of airborne particles. The AQ-10 is compliant with the U.S. Occupational Safety and Health Administration and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) calibration standards.

The AQ-10 is suitable for all dust control devices, including cyclones, dust collectors, and baghouses. It is also an ideal transducer for applications that require immediate data on smoke, dust, mist, and haze in underground transportation systems, ventilation systems, indoor workplaces, and more. The AQ-10 utilizes an optical layout consisting of infrared emitters and silicon detectors. When particles enter the detection area, an analog output, current, and voltage signal are generated in proportion to the particle concentration, and this signal is sent to recorders or centralized processing panels. The AQ-10 can be easily installed on walls or indoor air ducts. It can also be strategically placed in critical locations of dust control devices such as dust collectors and baghouses. The unit can be configured in a single or multi-point system.
