Inlay is the most basic form of an IC tag, where an IC chip is connected to an antenna. It features a wire-wound antenna made of copper, allowing for a wide range of size and shape options. Additionally, by fine-tuning the antenna size, it is also possible to adjust the resonant frequency. Even when there are pre-defined constraints on size and shape, such as when used in a resin-molded case, we can propose inlays that maximize performance within those constraints.
