The Laser Barrier Alarm Monitoring System LMS511 creates a barrier by scanning laser light in a planar manner using a laser distance scanning sensor, detecting objects that intrude into the barrier, and issuing alarms to the operator. Scanning is performed using an internal rotating mirror, and the time-of-flight measurement of pulses allows for distance measurement at various angles within a range of 190°. The maximum measurement distance is 80m, with a distance resolution of 10mm and an angle resolution of 0.25° to 1°. This system allows for flexible configuration of the detection range.
