The ORB STK-1 Gemini is a time recorder that manages card authentication and logs (attendance and departure history) with just one unit. It records the clock-in and clock-out times simply by touching a card. It can be used by just connecting to a LAN and an outlet, and the data stored in the unit can be retrieved via LAN to a computer for editing and output using dedicated software. It can record up to 100,000 timestamp data entries, and during a power outage, it retains the timestamp data within the unit. Since it does not require extensive installation work, it can be implemented quickly, and there are no system maintenance costs, allowing for speedy and low-cost operation. It can also be useful for managing employee working hours, which has seen increased demand due to the enforcement of the Work Style Reform Bill.
