Prevent seizing of stainless steel screws and nuts!
The "M Coat" treatment refers to a Teflon-based lubricant film treatment developed by Maruemu Manufacturing Co., Ltd. as a measure to prevent seizure of stainless steel bolts and nuts. Tests conducted on stainless steel bolts and nuts treated with "M Coat" showed that they could be tightened without seizing even under conditions that are prone to seizure (such as a 3° wedge). After tightening five times repeatedly, no seizure phenomenon occurred, and no abnormal "galling" was observed on the thread surfaces of either the bolts or nuts.
