The tapered shape is designed to fit multiple ports with one size. It is particularly crafted for powder coating and "E" coating finishing systems. It also has excellent chemical resistance. All of our EPDM plugs with an outlet diameter larger than 27.00 are of this hollow type. *There is also the HSTS series (material: silicone) which has excellent heat resistance.
