In our development environment, which assumes in-house development and maintenance after system construction, two crucial requirements were the functionality to enable immediate responses to on-site needs (improvement requests) and maintainability, which is essential for continuous operational management.

【Development Form】 We aimed to systematize using existing Excel assets with dbSheetClient, and we tried to develop while making the most of the features of this product. This product has a component called task type, and by combining these, we were able to create quite complex logic. However, we were not able to express all the functions we required solely with task types, so we also utilized Excel VBA for the parts that were lacking. During the development process, we received technical support from Newcom, which allowed us to build the planned system. 【Implementation Effects】 The effects of the new system can be summarized in two main points. The first is the reduction of man-hours in schedule management and the ability to respond to specification changes from customers in a shorter time. The second is the ability to respond quickly to changes in the system's required specifications.
