This is a computer-controlled ultrasonic physical property evaluation research system manufactured by RITEC.
The RAM-5000 series manufactured by RITEC is a computer-controlled ultrasonic material property evaluation research system equipped with a high-power RF burst pulser, a wideband receiver, and a phase detector/integrator module. It is optimal for precise measurement of ultrasonic sound speed and attenuation in high-damping materials, research on nonlinear acoustic phenomena, multi-channel high-power RF burst pulse sources, or as a driver/receiver for low conversion efficiency transducers such as EMATs (Electromagnetic Acoustic Transducers). The RAM-5000 features a modular system configuration, allowing users to select the necessary module configuration from the Mark1 to Mark6 series. For example, multiple gated amplifier modules with high power pulse output can be selected to enable multi-channel drive. Additionally, a manually controlled or standalone gated amplifier system (equivalent to RAM-Mark2: 5kW output) is also available.
