Providing major military aircraft manufacturers with the ability to quickly and safely dissipate energy from testing devices.
MTS provided support for incorporating the Active Load Abort (ALA) system into each test fixture used by Airbus Military for the Airbus A400M transport aircraft. The ALA technology is ideal for protecting test specimens, as it enhances control to remove loads from the structural testing system in the event of power outages or system interlocks. During such events, regardless of changes in pressure or the position of each shaker, the ALA system performs measurements and simultaneously reduces the loads of all shakers to a neutral state at both the software and hardware levels. Additionally, while lowering the hydraulic pressure on the specimen, an independent control system is activated in parallel with the load control system, taking into account the overall state of the test. This system detects faults on the control side and adjusts to ensure that loads are rapidly and evenly removed from the entire specimen. For more details, please contact us or refer to the catalog.

basic information
【Case Study Introduction】 ○Implemented System →AeroPro Software →Active Load Abort (ALA: Active Load Abort) ○Reason for Implementation →If a system failure occurs and the specimen is damaged, valuable engineering time spanning several months would be lost. Such failures are rare, but they represent a risk that cannot be taken. It was necessary to be able to quickly and uniformly release energy from the testing apparatus in a properly managed manner. ○Customer Benefits →The main advantage of MTS's ALA technology is that it has brought a new perspective on how to protect specimens from system failures and unexpected behaviors during structural testing to Airbus Military. →It can be confidently stated that the specimen is sufficiently protected from damage during testing. Test engineers can focus on the test without worrying about unexpected failures in the testing apparatus that could undermine their previous efforts. ●For more details, please contact us or refer to the catalog.

MTS Japan, Inc. is the Japanese subsidiary of the American engineering company MTS Systems Corporation, which specializes in various testing equipment. For over 40 years, we have provided engineering consulting services to users in Japan, delivering earthquake simulation systems, automotive durability testing systems, aircraft fatigue testing equipment, and various material testing devices to public institutions, universities, and private companies in our country. All of these systems play a crucial role in ensuring the safety of these systems and are indispensable when it comes to "manufacturing" products. MTS Japan, Inc. was established in June 1972 with a 50% investment from MTS Systems Corporation. In May 1975, it became a wholly-owned subsidiary of the company, and in 1981, we established the Nagoya branch (now the West Japan branch) to strengthen our sales and support structure, which continues to this day. Through collaboration with MTS, we achieve design optimization, productivity improvement, and a reduction in the time to market for our customers' products.
