It facilitates the formation of slits necessary for rock splitting methods, allowing for low-cost operations. In the LS Cutter method, a guide is inserted into the preceding hole, and a new hole is drilled parallel to the drilling bit, while the space between holes is crushed using a linear guide to create slits. This method allows for a slit width that is longer than the drilling diameter plus the space between holes compared to conventional methods, enabling a reduction in slit formation time and improving construction efficiency.
