The base material, PP, is relatively inexpensive and lightweight compared to other plastics, and it excels in the balance of rigidity and impact resistance, as well as heat resistance and chemical resistance. By blending this PP with olefin-based resins that enhance flexibility in a unique ratio, we have achieved the characteristics unique to PP, along with a minimum bending radius of 9.0mm (for the 4 x 2.5 type) and a pressure resistance performance of up to 0.8MPa. This makes it an ideal resin tube for replacing nylon tubes that are not used under high pressure, as well as for sites using Ushio Lighting's plastic fittings "Z Union," contributing to the stable operation of equipment, devices, and systems.
