The SRU series rotary lobe pumps are designed for a wide range of applications in the brewing, dairy, food, pharmaceutical, and chemical industries. They can handle fluids from low to high viscosity, and the characteristics of smooth and low shear pump operation make them ideal for products such as creams, gels, emulsions (milk emulsions), aerated mixtures, and suspensions of fine cells or organic solids. The SRU series is suitable for CIP (Clean-In-Place) and complies with USA 3-A sanitary standards. Furthermore, it has been proven to fully meet the CIP capabilities of products by the EHEDG (European Hygienic Engineering & Design Group). It is also classified for use in potentially explosive environments under the ATEX Directive 94/9/EC Group II, Categories 2 & 3, Temperature Class T1 to T4. The SRU series is compact and efficient, capable of operating at flow rates of up to 106 m³/h and pressures of up to 20 bar.
