It is a mortar adhesive enhancer of the wet type, primarily composed of special synthetic resin.
During the mortar application for plastering work, issues may arise regarding adhesion to the substrate, such as floating, cracking, and peeling. Manol adhesive excels not only in adhesion but also in water retention and workability, making it suitable for use on all concrete and mortar substrates. It ensures complete adhesion of finishes such as mortar, tiles, and stone on ceilings, floors, and interior/exterior walls, while also preventing shrinkage and cracking, thereby contributing to the improvement of plastering work. In 1910 (Meiji 43), the founder Ryujiro Yanaka established a municipal chemical research institute in Dalian, Manchuria, and began research on the chemical applications of the local specialty "soybeans." He made various inventions and proposals, but he felt particularly strongly about the need for the cement waterproofing agent, which was of great importance, especially in the rainy and humid climate of mainland Japan. In 1921 (Taisho 10), he moved to Tokyo and established the Yushi Chemical Company in the area of Jabukubo, Ebara Town, Ebara District, Tokyo (now the headquarters). With the trademark "Manol," he began full-scale production and sales, laying the foundation for today's company. In 1955 (Showa 30), the first president Ryujiro Yanaka was honored with the Purple Ribbon Medal for his invention of the cement waterproofing agent manufacturing method, solidifying his position as a leader in the industry both in name and reality. Recent technological innovations have led to significant advancements in materials and construction methods, and to respond to increasingly diverse needs, the company is actively promoting a variety of research and development activities while focusing on strengthening its corporate foundation with a motto of sound management.
