basic information
■Rewinding (Rewinding) Maintenance of Burned Coils ● Coils will be rewound when there is coil burning, ground faults, decreased insulation resistance, or deterioration of insulating materials. ■Reconditioning of Worn Areas on Shafts and Sleeves (Thermal Spraying, Bushing Processing, etc.) ● When wear occurs on shafts or sleeves, reconditioning will be performed using thermal spraying. ● When wear occurs on the housing of brackets, bushing processing will be applied. ■Repair of DC and Wound Type Motors (Maintenance and Manufacturing of Commutators and Slip Rings) ● Our company not only maintains commutators (commutators) for DC motors and slip rings for wound type motors but also accepts various manufacturing requests. ■Insulation Reinforcement of Coils ● For maintenance brought to our factory, we propose insulation reinforcement through varnish impregnation treatment as a basic maintenance menu. ■Motor and Pump Diagnostic Services ● We offer on-site diagnostic services for your motors. Based on various measurement and inspection results, we will suggest the necessity of maintenance, etc. ● We will diagnose all motors you own, so please make use of this for future maintenance planning.

■Overhaul of DC Motor for Press Machine ●Condition Before Maintenance Maintenance of the DC motor is essential for the upkeep of the commutator, but if it has not been maintained for a long time, the surface is often quite rough. In such cases, not only is there poor rectification, but intense sparking can also occur. In this instance, signs of scoring and step wear were also observed. ●Maintenance Results (After) In the maintenance of the commutator, it is necessary to carefully perform the steps in the order of turning → undercutting → chamfering. This time, maintenance was carried out according to the prescribed flow, and you can see the before-and-after comparison in the photos. After that, the carbon brush fitting was done, followed by assembly. Although the schedule was tight, we also applied a varnish impregnation treatment, and the maintenance was completed smoothly, resulting in successful delivery.

■Maintenance of Wound Motors (Metal Bearing Repair) ●Condition Before Maintenance It was confirmed that there was a large crack in the metal bearing. By the way, large motors or older models often use metal for the bearings. ●Maintenance Results (After) We performed metal regeneration through a replacement repair. After melting the metal in a melting pot, we carefully conducted the welding work on the bearing to seal the crack. Subsequently, we carried out additional metal turning work to restore it to a shiny condition. Depending on the condition of the metal, it is possible for us to perform the replacement in-house for cracks like the one this time. The inside of the coil was also dirty, so after cleaning and drying, we applied insulation reinforcement through varnish impregnation treatment. After assembling the main body, we painted it, restoring it to a condition like new.

■Maintenance of Cutter Motors for Marine Construction Vessels ●Condition Before Maintenance Initially, the plan was to replace the bearings on-site, but upon disassembly, severe wear on the shaft and significant damage inside the stator were observed. As a result, it was decided to take the equipment back to the factory for a complete overhaul, including thermal spraying. ●Results of Maintenance (After) The worn and thinned areas of the shaft were restored through thermal spraying, and the maintenance was successfully completed with cleaning, drying, varnish impregnation and finishing treatment, and bearing replacement. On the day of delivery, an unexpected issue arose when the spare motor (which had been used in place of the serviced motor during the maintenance period) also stopped working. However, since it was the delivery day, we managed to minimize production loss.

■Maintenance of Cutter Motors for Offshore Construction Vessels ●Condition Before Maintenance/Repair (Before) The motor before repair was severely corroded overall, and the bracket cover, which was particularly corroded, had lost its original shape. Wear was also observed in the bearing housing of the load side bracket. Due to prolonged use at sea, the insulation values were also tending to be low. ●Maintenance/Repair Results (After) Inspection of each part was conducted, and a complete overhaul was performed. For the insulation reinforcement of the stator coil, cleaning and drying were carried out, followed by varnish impregnation treatment. Bush processing of the load side bracket was also performed, and the fabrication of the bracket cover and repair of the corroded areas were implemented. After confirming no abnormalities during the no-load power-on test, painting was completed, and the repair was successfully finished.

Since our establishment in 1949, we have been involved in the repair and maintenance of rotating machinery such as motors and pumps. Nowadays, we are engaged with various customers not only within Iwate Prefecture but also throughout the Tohoku region. We can service a wide range of motors, including AC (low voltage/high voltage), DC, wound types, and various gear motors, regardless of their type, including older models and those manufactured overseas. Of course, the same applies to pumps. In particular, there are now few companies in the Tohoku area that can rewind burnt coils, but since our founding, we have continued to rewind coils and can accommodate various types of motors as mentioned above. Recently, it often takes a long time to receive new products, so please consider coil rewinding maintenance in the event of burning troubles or insulation failures. We also accept coil manufacturing. We can handle prototype coils for research and development purposes, so feel free to consult us. Additionally, we have thermal spraying equipment (for the regeneration of worn parts) and large no-load testing equipment (capable of handling large capacity motors), allowing us to provide comprehensive motor maintenance in-house. We also offer on-site maintenance services. Furthermore, we are actively engaged in the development of photocatalytic technology using thermal spraying. For more details, please visit our website.
